Kenny Slaught Encouraging Knowledge Of EDMR

Several Hospice of Santa Barbara counsellors have obtained certification for EDMR and are effectively integrating the service into treatment plans. This is resulting in many patients reporting greater feelings of ease and comfort than they experienced with talk therapy alone. EMDR will not replace the need for talk therapy, but does serve as an important complement for clients suffering from particularly difficult grief or trauma.
