Kenny Slaught On the History of Hoover Dam

Giving a historical account of Hoover Dam, Kenny Slaught says that the major structure was concluded during the American Great Depression period, amid 1931 and 1936, which cost the government $49 million dollars. Before, the dam was named Boulder Dam, but was later renamed Hoover Dam as a tribute to the erstwhile-President Herbert Hoover, who had made great contributions to the founding of this massive structure. With 221 meters in height, 379 meters in length, and more than 35.000 cubic kilometers of full capacity, the large structure could generate over 4,2 billion kWh2 per year.
