Southern California uses 28% of the energy, Nevada uses 23%, while Arizona takes up 18%. About 90% of the water in Las Vegas comes from the dam, which is managed by the United States Bureau of Reclamation. Its lake, called Lake Mead, can be one of the biggest water reservoirs in the US at full capacity. It is one of the country’s most beautiful spots to see.
